Flexibond MS-930

Flexibond MS-930 is a one-component elastic sealant based on silane-modified polymer. It combines the advantages of both polyurethane and silicone, and thus is a new generation sealant. It is free of silicone, isocyanate and solvent. It cures quickly to form durable elastomer when in contact with moisture at ambient temperature.

APPLICATION
Flexibond MS-930 is used for the elastic sealing of joints and seams in following industries: bus body, railway carriage, container, equipment engineering, air-conditioning and ventilation, metal and sheet metal working, plastics technology, ship building, etc.. It can also be used for bus flooring, and bonding of autoglass with rubber profile.

ADHESION
Flexibond MS-930 has good adhesion on metal (fresh, parkerized, galvanized, painted), stainless steel, copper, aluminium (fresh, anodized, painted), glass, PC, PUR, ABS, polyester, most thermal plastics, EPDM, PS, PA, PVC, etc.. But prior test is absolutely necessary.

PROCESS
Cleaning:
Clean surface to ensure the surface being clean, dry, free of oil, grease, and of sound quality.
Activating/Priming:
Activators and/or primers may be required to achieve optimal adhesion depending on the nature of substrates.
Application of sealant:
Cut tip to desired shape and size. Puncture airtight seal. Install with hand or power operated gun and extrude the sealant into the joint. Clean excess sealant using hard rubber plate or finger wet with soap solution.
